Camp Adair question


Pre camp quiz

  1. What is your group name? Group 3

  1. Who is in your group? Faith Isaako, Abraham Faatiga, Rosalina Tavita Tupai, Elisha Chand, Kalivati Navakubucia, Jurgen Sheppard, Skyla Walker, Joshua, Ruqa, Victoria.

  1. What time must you be at school? At 8:00.

  1. What time does the bus leave? We leave at 9:30.

  1. Where is Camp Adair? At Hunua road.

  1. How long will it take to travel to Camp Adair? Check on tour builder. It takes 25 or 15 minutes.

  1. What do you need to remember to bring to camp? A travel Pack and a day bag, Sleeping bag and blankets, pillow and a pillow cages and a waterproof jacket, 4 t shirts, 1 Woollen jersey or Polar fleece, 4 pair of underwear, 4 pair of shorts, 2 pairs of tracksuit bottoms, 1 PJ’s, 1 pair of sandals or jandals, 1 pair of sports shoes, 1 pair of sport socks, 1 pair of swimming togs (girls) /board shorts (boy).

  1. What should you not to bring to camp? You have to not bring phone or chromebook.

  1. What are two things you must do safely? No running somewhere that is no safe for you to run.

  1. What are some skills you will be learning while at Camp Adair?  You have to do the right thing want they are telling you to do at Camp Adair.

All about bikes

(1) Make a list of the different types of bikes.

1. BMX bike
2. Racing bike
3. Mountain bike
4. Trailer bike
5. Pink bike

(2) Write the keywords in these sentences.

Your legs should be straight when your pedal is at the bottom of its turn.

Your toes should be able to touch the ground.

(3) Put the list of bike parts in alphabet order.

1. Brake
2. Chain
3. Seat
4. Spokes
5. Type


(4) Choose 2 bike parts and make a mini glossary.
Write a sentence for each part that says what that part is or what it does.
Remember that glossary is in alphabetical order.

Pedals is to move the wheels around.
Brakes is to stop the bike moving.


(5) Look at the photograph on page 4 and 5 then draw a picture of a bike that you would like to have.
Label it’s special features.

Kiwi Can

Kiwi Can is about teaching you how to be helpful and how to treat someone how you want to be treated. At Kiwi Can they also teach you how to be a nice helpful friend.  Kiwi Can teach's you how to not put your self down when you are trying to find a friend that does not have a friend.  

Swimming

At Massey Park pools I learnt how to float on my back in the deep water. Then I went to my coach to listen for my next task in the pool. After when I was finished my swimming lessons I went outside to eat some of my lunch well I was waiting for the bus.
